PVC Calendered Leather for Bags, Shoes & Bicycle Saddles

ROYI develops PVC calendered artificial leather for repeatable roll production, with bag and luggage materials as a core direction. Optional decorative or functional film lamination expands the available grain, texture and graphic effects.

Direct Answer

Stable roll production with a broader surface vocabulary.

PVC calendered leather is formed as a continuous sheet under controlled roll pressure and gap, then combined with the required backing and optional film, print, embossing or finishing route. It fits projects where repeatable thickness, surface variety and cost-controlled production matter.

Surface-Film Development

One stable PVC base. Many possible surface directions.

Film lamination can add clear, printed, textured, matte, metallic or other project-specific effects beyond conventional embossing. TPU may be one possible route, but the actual film and bonding system should be confirmed against appearance, flexing, migration, cleaning and service conditions.

Core Application

PVC leather for bags and luggage comes first.

A stable calendered base can support structured panels, travel cases, cosmetic bags, backpacks and accessories. Film lamination extends the design range without changing the need to confirm the finished construction.

Shoe Uppers

Moderate flex, defined by the actual shoe.

Suitable for selected casual shoe uppers and components. Confirm flex cycles, temperature, failure criteria, backing and coating adhesion instead of making an extreme flex claim.

Bicycle Saddles

Stable cover material where stretch is not required.

Develop the material around forming, edge wrapping, fixing behavior, abrasion and water exposure. This route is intentionally not presented as stretch leather.
